Project Crackerjack is an open source initiative supported by a consortium of Red Hat partners in Asia with the objective of building a tool that is able to determine differences in syscall interfaces between kernel versions. This is helpful to Red Hat when documenting sycall-level changes in its release notes. It is also helpful to application developers who, as part of a larger process, need such information to plan the migration or adaptation of existing applications from earlier versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
