Red Hat is pleased to announce the latest addition to its line up of performance-based certifications - JBoss Certified Application Administrator. With the new certification, Red Hat extends our industry-leading certification program to the JBoss suite of products.

Why are we offering a middleware certification now? Simply put - we are responding to interest in our open source middleware solutions. Our customers are looking to us to help them maximize their JBoss Enterprise Middleware deployment and optimize their strategic investment. The JBCAA can help our customers and partners get the most from Red Hat deployments.

Certification Overview

IT managers can be assured that application administrators who have earned an JBCAA accreditation have demonstrated the skills and knowledge needed to install, configure, monitor and manage JBoss Enterprise Application Platform and deploy applications to it.

Exam Preparation

The hands-on nature of this exam make real-world experience a critical facet of preparation. In addition to experience, Red Hat recommends that participants attend the JBoss Application Administration (JB336) training course and review the JBCAA Study Guide. The JBoss Application Administration course balances concept-based lectures with real-world tasks and project-oriented labs. Targeted to JBoss Application Server systems administrators, deployment managers, and quality assurance engineers, this training course course helps administrators better deploy, maintain and troubleshoot their JBoss environment.
